To support you in your 8 week experience we have a huge range of guided workouts, and meal plans which feature our delicious and nutritious seasonal recipes. We’ve also got the 28 ‘crew’ who are on hand to answer your questions 7 days a week.

Can I do the challenge if I am new to fitness?
Absolutely! Our workouts are designed to cater to all fitness levels, and our live support team is available 7 days a week to help address any questions or issues you may have.
What sort of results can I expect from doing the challenge?
The results that people get from my 8 Week Challenge are never the same – because everyone’s experience is completely unique. Our challenge is designed to support you with all the the tools you need to make fantastic progress, but you’re in the driver’s seat! At 28, we focus on progress, not perfection. That’s what we celebrate, and that’s how we build long lasting healthy habits and results.
What sort of workouts will I have access to, and can I choose which ones I do and how often?
Signing up to the challenge gives you access to a huge range of guided workouts that you can do from home, whenever it fits in with your schedule. You’ll have HIIT, Cardio, Pilates, Strength and Yoga workouts to choose from, each of which is guided by myself or one of our expert 28 trainers. We also have all new bonus classes with brand new trainers including DanceFIT with Lucy. There is no set number of workouts that you need to do each week, however for optimal fitness I always recommend ‘getting your body moving’ at least once a day.
Do I need a gym, home gym setup or any fitness equipment?
To complete our challenge workouts, all you need is some space at home and your phone! You can complete your entire challenge completely equipment free and see great results. However, if you’d like to use some home fitness equipment we have some great options for you too!
Can I do the challenge if I am pregnant or recently post natal?
This challenge is designed to be done at whatever pace suits the stage your body is currently at. If an 8 week challenge feels like the right thing to do for your body and your growing bub, then that is entirely up to you. In collaboration with my team of women’s health experts, I have created programs specifically for new mums and mums-to-be! You can check out the 28 Pregnancy Program and the 28 Post-Natal Program, and remember to always consult your doctor before taking on a new exercise routine during these exciting times.
Does the challenge meal plan cater to my dietary requirements?
The nutrition section of your 28 app allows you to select the following diet types: General, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Pescatarian. We also have a collection of recipes that are vegan, however when it comes to the meal plan program you may have to supplement some ingredients for plant-based options. You have full control to swap out recipes for alternative options throughout your time in the challenge – and there are thousands to choose from! Trust us, you will not go hungry on our meal plans…
How is the challenge different to the regular 28 program?
In the 8 week challenge, you will use the same workouts, recipes/meal-plans and mindfulness content that you would use on the regular 28 program. We include additional motivational content and support (through a dedicated facebook community) but the main thing that sets apart the 8 week challenge and the regular 28 by Sam Wood program is you will be joining thousands of other 28ers on a set-period program that is “long enough to see results, but short enough to keep your eye on the prize”.

Can I join if I live overseas?
Yes! The challenge is open to all current members of the 28 program, wherever you are in the world.
What happens to my membership after the challenge finishes?
28 by Sam Wood memberships are purchased on a subscription basis. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
The challenge offer – is a three month subscription to 28 by Sam Wood. Your first payment will be taken upon purchase, with subsequent payments to be taken every three months thereafter at $147 (unless cancelled). You can check the date of this next payment, which will be after the completion of the 8 Week Challenge, by logging in to your account via the website and clicking on ACCOUNT in your left menu sidebar. 28 By Sam Wood has no lock in contracts, so you can cancel your membership at any time.
